Superior Resource Group, LLC is hiring a Utility Worker for a custom machinery manufacturer. The Utility Worker will perform a wide variety of work duties throughout manufacturing and the facility.


  • Metal manufacturing experience.
  • Prior machine operation experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts, scissors lift and overhead cranes.
  • Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching/working overhead and standing for long periods of time.
  • Capable of regular lifting randomly sized items up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Operate, monitor and adjust machines and equipment in an effective and safe manner.
  • Responsible for performing and documenting Quality Assurance checks measuring products with caliper, micrometer and tape measure ensuring product specifications, quality and excellent craftsmanship are maintained.
  • Deburr, grind, polish and clean metal materials.
  • Set up, adjust and operate large industrial band saws with limited supervision. Cut materials to proper specifications.
  • Assist with press brake and other shop work as needed.
  • Assist with assembling equipment and systems.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
  • Safely operate forklifts in inside and outside weather conditions to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting and transporting products and supplies.
  • Verify and keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Perform manual material handling, sorting, lifting, and caring of assorted sized items up to 60 pounds.
  • Accurately select, count, label and package customer orders for delivery.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes to lift and move materials.
  • Assist with maintenance related activities.
  • Perform environmental cleaning and organizing work activities.
  • Perform building and grounds work activities.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Perform manual material handling, sorting, lifting, and caring of assorted sized items up to 60 pounds.
  • Fill out daily paperwork for all work projects in a timely manner ensuring proper allocation of time and materials.
  • Efficiently and effectively perform all work tasks ensuring the highest level of employee safety, product quality and team work.
  • Communicate and work professionally and effectively, build and maintain positive work relationships with plant personnel, customers, vendors, and other business associates.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
