Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Installer/Lead Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years Stainless Steel TIG Welding/Installation experience.
Leadership experience with solid work history required.
Must be able to accurately read and interpret blue prints and field drawings.
Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to professionally lead and train coworkers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to accurately measure using tape measure, square and related equipment.
Must be able to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes and scissor lifts.
Able to work at elevated heights.
Must possess good communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks.
Capable of regular lifting randomly sized items up to 60 pounds.
Must be capable of performing multi-tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Commitment to quality and safety excellence a must.
Must have valid State of Wisconsin driver s license with acceptable driving record.
Must be reliable with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and morale.
Ability to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Installer/Lead Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read blue prints and field drawings to accurately plan and layout work to install and/or erect piping, systems and equipment.
Measure, fit and weld process piping, systems and equipment.
Ensure correct materials and dimensions are maintained while minimizing product waste.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Perform welding work and installation work in confined spaces.
Regularly inspect work in progress ensuring quality and excellent craftsmanship are maintained.
Regular local travel to and from customer sites (home daily).
Load vehicles with needed materials and supplies per customer work order each day.
Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to travel to customer sites. Comply with applicable D.O.T Safety Regulations.
Lead welding and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
Lead and train Stainless Steel TIG Welders/Installers in proper techniques required to maintain maximum productivity while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of required paperwork for all work projects ensuring proper allocation of time and materials.
